INTRODUCTION

Bak-Kut-Teh (Hokkien) is a delicacy popular in Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia and Singapore. It is a soup made from meat and bones combined with various Chinese herbs and spices. The soup itself does not contain any tea leaves (Teh) , but because people usually drink some tea while eating, thus it is generally called Bak-Kut-Teh.

肉骨茶Bak-Kut-Teh (闽南语) 是一种流行於东南亚,尤其是在马来西亚和新加坡一带的美食。它是利用肉与骨,再配合各种中药材与香料,并熬制多个小时后所煲成的浓汤。汤里并没有茶叶或茶的成份,但是由於人们一般在食用时都会多泡杯茶饮用,所以一般都习称肉骨茶。 


INGREDIENTS

Chinese angelica, Asiabell root, Solomon's seal, licorice, chuanxiong, goji berries, Rehmannia, black dates, secret spice sachet.

当归,党参,玉竹,甘草,川芎,枸杞,熟地,黑枣,秘制香料包


PRESERVATION METHOD

It is recommended to store in the refrigerator to preserve and maintain freshness. 


建议存放于冰箱以达到有效地保鲜效果。


HOW TO COOK

Each packet serves 3 person for two meals. First, prepare some meat, 1 whole bulb of garlic, clean the herbal ingredients inside the packet and put them in a large pot. Fill the pot with water and bring it to boil. Once boiling, turn to low heat and simmer for 1-2 hours. Add some salt and soy sauce to taste before serving.

Vegetarians can choose mushrooms, corn and other ingredients instead of meat.


每包可煲一锅,供3人喝2顿。首先将肉类,一整颗大蒜,与配料清洗干净后放入大锅内,再加入清水用猛火煮沸,煮沸后转小火煮1-2小时即可。食用前可用盐,酱油适量调味。

素食者可选择菇类,玉米等食材。
